Microsoft's Aero Snap feature in the latest Windows versions was a good idea, but they didn't go all the way. WindowSpace takes this idea further, by placing many more possibilities at your disposal. With this lightweight application on your computer, you will be able to snap windows to the screen's corners (not just the edges), snap them together, align them with a single keystroke and much more.

WindowSpace is free to try for 30 days, after which you have to pay for a license. It works on Windows XP, Vista, Win 7 and Win 8 and it provides full support for both 32 and 64-bit versions. Downloading and installing the application shouldn't prove to be difficult, even for novice users and it should take only a few seconds to complete the operation.

Running WindowSpace on your computer is all you have to do if you want to be able to manipulate your windows with more freedom. While the application is working quietly in the background, you may grab any window on your screen and snap it the screen's corners, snap them to other windows or maximize them vertically by snapping them to the lower edge of the screen.

A tabbed configurations panel can be accessed through the application's system tray icon. Although all recommended settings are made by default and they work just fine, you may want to have a look at the available options, because you will discover new and interesting functions. For example, you can use a series of hotkeys, to snap active windows to an edge or corner or to bring them to the center of the screen. Of course, you can reconfigure any hotkey according to your own needs.

Pros

WindowSpace gives you more possibilities when it comes to snapping windows. You can also snap windows together and align them easier. The application is lightweight and it can be installed in just a few seconds.

Cons

The trial version displays a delayed nag screen when launched. If you want to bring order to the chaos on your screen, you can do it instantly with WindowSpace's smart functionality.
